2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Home Try-Ons Part 3
The final week of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! As I mentioned before, styles are popping in and out of stock pretty consistently, so make sure to check back frequently if you have your eye on something that's out in your size! My final roundup of try-ons are below, with some more new favorites included. What do you have your eye on??
Tahari Lace Inset Fit & Flare Crepe Dress (4P) - I loved the lace inset details on this dress, plus you can never have too many little black dresses. Plus, there's already a panel over the bust, so there's no need for a cami beneath the dress. I should have sized up since I ordered a petite, but I didn't. This one was just a touch too tight. A great staple though!
Lewit Alessia Flat Shoes (7) - See my review in Part 1.
Ted Baker London Sayda Iguazu Shift Dress (2) - I have a special place in my heart for Ted Baker London dresses. This one has just a stunning print and color, and would work so well with my growing bump! The sleeves were just a bad too dramatic for my liking, however. Especially for a potential work-wear dress and one for this price (even on sale).
Marc Fisher LTD Hesla Pumps (7) - See my review in Part 2.
Badgley Mischka Double Face Wool Blend Wrap Front Coat (MP) - I was a little disappointed that a coat made by a designer brand (and over $200) wouldn't have a lining. The material is nice though, so it didn't itch or feel uncomfortable on my skin. Sizing-wise, I went a size up since I got a petite, but I should have gotten a SP and it would have fit better in the shoulders. I love how it comes in petite sizing, however, because the length on the arms was actually appropriate! This coat also comes in a classic camel and gorgeous lavender - love the color options!
Vince Rib Trim Silk Blouse (S) - See my review in Part 2.
Zella Live In Ombré Midi Leggings (S) - I have mentioned many times that I love Zella's Live-In leggings, and this ombre pair is a great addition! They ombre isn't as dramatic in person, but I love how the grey is speckled so it helps hide imperfections. The midi length is great on my 5'2" frame as well, so it doesn't bunch up at the bottom.
Hunter Original Tall Rain Boots (7) - This is another item I've already owned before (note the mud on the sole.....) and love! They work for so many weather occasions from rain, to mud, to snow. I already own the short rain boots, and recently got the original tall height and have worn them so much! They're great to throw on and go for those nasty days outside.
Madewell Province Cross Back Knit Pullover (M) - See my review in Part 1.
Vince Camuto Asymmetrical Hem Scuba Crepe Dress (4) - I loved the asymmetrical hem on the dress the second I saw it online and knew I had to have it! I wish I had sized up, because you can see my burgeoning bump (hello second trimester!) a little more than I'd like haha. It makes me feel like I look like I just had too much to eat. While it doesn't necessarily work for me at this moment in my life, it's still a stunning dress that I will keep on my wishlist. Plus, it comes in a gorgeous cobalt color as well!
BP. Tonya Open Toe Mule (7) - See my review in Part 1.
Mavi Jeans Sharkbite Fringe Hem Jeans (27) - See my review in Part 2.
Steve Madden Trace Studded Mules (7) - In my opinion, Steve Madden makes shoes that are a great balance between cost and quality. While they won't last years and years, they have lasted me through many seasons. With that said, for under $50, I think these shoes fit in that narrative perfectly. They come in a few different colors from this gorgeous rust, to black, grey, yellow, and even a snakeprint. If studs aren't you thing, they also come in a non-studded version, but those sadly aren't part of the sale.
Caslon Back-Zip Pullover (S) - I love the idea of a back-zip sweater, and with a marled grey I couldn't resist trying it! Unfortunately, this sweater was a little too long for me, especially in the back. It also visually widened my hips once the zipper ended, probably due to the length. If it came in a petite size, I'd happily re-order, especially with it being under $40!
London Fog Heritage Modern Trench Coat (S) - Can we take a minute here to appreciate this gorgeous color? There was so much of this trench that I love - one being that it feels like a real trench coat that could withstand the elements. Sometimes you get a trench coat that is more for looks than utility, where this one fits in both. It is lined, which is a great plus, and fits true to size. I only wish it came in petite sizing, but I could always get it altered at the sleeves. Otherwise, this trench knocks it out of the park!
